Becky's Drive-In Theater (Walnutport, Pennsylvania)

This one is among the "Best Drive-In Theaters" in the Lehigh Valley. One of 10 Drive-Ins Worth a Detour, it came in as the 5th best drive-in theater in the United States several years back. Previously known as Route 45 Drive-In and at its current location since 1946, this two-screen Becky's Drive-In venue in Pennsylvania's Northampton County sometimes ends up playing an R movie as the second feature. Some movie companies prefer their films to not be mixed with another film company's movie. Pets are allowed, with conditions. Becky's Drive-In shows movies in the rain -- closing during extreme weather events/power failures.

With a permanent second screen constructed in 2007, digital projectors were installed in 2014. Portable radios are available for rent.

Drive-in Screenings Schedule -- the family-run drive-in closed for the winter season and will reopen in the spring. Movies start around dusk. Having a schedule for the entire summer is not possible since Becky's Drive-In might not know which films will be playing until a few days before the outdoor screening. No cooking, grilling, or food preparation on drive-in property. Alcohol is prohibited. Becky's Drive-In's refreshment center is between Outdoor Screen 1 (80' x 50' and serving 450 vehicles) and Outdoor Screen 2 (66' x 33' and serving 250 vehicles).

Ticket Cost: All drive-in ticket sales are done at the box office when entering the outdoor movie venue. No re-admission once in drive-in. You must pay to re-enter. Special circumstances may be considered but must be cleared at box office prior to leaving the drive-in. Save ticket stubs, as they are proof you paid to attend drive-in.

Location/Get Directions: 4548 Lehigh Drive Walnutport, PA 18088 -- circa 11 miles north of Allentown, Pennsylvania, 15 miles from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and 20 miles West of Easton, Pennsylvania.
